Since it's officially fall, what warm styles is Vogue Jennie thinking about this season? "I really like layering when the weather is cool like this," Jennie says. "I love wearing my favorite leather jacket and embracing the fall vibe." (We do, too.) The star adds that she'll be focusing on accessories, too. "I've been collecting little things like brooches and scarves, along with fun socks," Jennie says. "They add a unique touch to my outfits. I also love collecting pants. There are so many colors and styles out there, it feels like a never-ending journey."
Fashion aside, Jennie has a busy few weeks ahead. First, she's releasing a new single, Mantra, this month. "It's something my fans and I are really looking forward to," she says. "I'm going to focus on creating opportunities for us to connect and communicate, allowing us to share special experiences together and interact with our fans from all over the world." What can you expect from the new track? "It's a fun, upbeat song that celebrates the power of women and inspires every woman to shine in her own way with confidence." If it's anything like You & Me or Solo, it's sure to be a hit.
Jennie's dramatic transformation wasn't the only star of her runway look. The singer made a statement in a turquoise sweater and mint green short shorts, paired with Chanel pearls. Of course, she added a quilted top-handle bag. "I was inspired by the style of fashion icons from the '60s, like Edie Sedgwick and Twiggy, who were trendsetters at the time," Jennie said. "I reinterpreted their signature pop style, color combinations, and modern styles in a contemporary way to create my own look." It was a fresh and youthful take on the quintessential Chanel piece. "For events like this, I like to take the elegant and feminine styles that the original models wore and add my own twist, sometimes in a funky, cool, or chic way," she said.
